Tryout Policies & Procedures

▶ Registration: Players MUST register for their appropriate age group through Sports Connect at the link HERE.

▶ Offer Window: We understand the level of commitment that Travel Soccer entails and want your player and your family to have to opportunity to choose the environment that is the best fit for you. Players will have a full week (7 days) to respond to their roster invitations once they are sent out - after that, we will begin offering invitations to waitlisted players on a first-come, first serve basis, until teams are full.

▶ Makeup Policy: If a player cannot attend one or both scheduled tryout dates, please register as normal and email [email protected] to discuss accommodations.

▶ Playing Up Policy: Players must register and try out with their designated age group. If playing up is a good fit, it may be considered by coaching staff and the program director. Requests should be emailed prior to tryouts.

Day of Tryouts

What to bring:

Soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shorts, jersey
Appropriately sized ball (U10–U12: Size 4 • U13+: Size 5)
Enough water for the session

Upon arrival:

Arrive at least 15 minutes early
Check in at the Fury Welcome Tent and confirm field assignment
Players receive a sticker with first name + tryout number (kept on the front of the shirt)
Parents must remain in designated viewing areas (grassy area by fence, picnic shelter, or concession area)

▶ Format: Select Black tryouts are held separately by age group. Please review fees and commitment levels prior to registration.

▶ Player Placement: Our priority is placing players by ability (technical skill, game awareness, coachability) so they train and compete with peers at a similar level to maximize development.

Select Black teams participate in structured regional leagues, with tournament play included in annual fees. Additional events may be added at the coach’s discretion.
